Today we began by summarizing the general procedure for computing a DFT fast using decimation. I hope everybody now understand how the various rows of the matrix get transformed. After that, we started a new topic, namely "filtering and frequency responses". After summarizing a few important facts about LTI systems, we defined a first filter, "Filter A", which we found had low-pass characteristics.

Did anybody take the pile of graded homework? If so, please bring them back so that other people can get their too!
