In today's lecture, we considered a signal consisting of a pure 524 hertz frequency (i.e., a signal that would sound like a C one octave higher than the middle C on the piano). Just like we did for the middle C, we sampled that signal 1000 times per second and looked at the DTFT of the resulting DT signal. We found that the sampling has a lower frequency than 524 hertz, namely 476 hertz.
