I am currently taking logic and algebra 452. These are my last math classes. I can't wait to be done with school. I am on the Purdue Wrestling team and we will wrestling Penn State Saturday Jan 24 at 2 pm. If anyone want to come watch the match it will be held in the IAF which is north of Mackey. The AF is where volleyball plays. Next week we will have our match against Illinois. Both of these teams are ranked in the nation. Also Purdue Wrestling was just ranked nationally.We are ranked 25th. We tied Penn State. This was good for us and yet we should have won. I was disappointed that I did not get to wrestle the main guy for Penn State. He is number 2 in the nation. However, I won my match 18-1. This is called a Tec. It gave our team 5 points.
We wrestle Illinois This Friday. They are number 7 in the nation. However, If we wrestle well we should beat them. The person I am wrestling is not ranked. This match will be on the Big Ten Network at 7pm. Also if you are not doing anything come out Friday and watch. It is only 2 dollars for a student.
We lost our match against Illinois. I won my match and Logan Brown won his match. We lost the rest.
This week we go to IU and Ohio State. These matches should be close. At Ohio State I will have the number 4 wrestler in the Nation. We will be traveling to IU on the 6th of February. We come back that night and then leave for Ohio the next day at 4. We will return Sunday hopefully with 2 wins for Purdue and myself.
Well I won my IU match but lost my OSU match. Both matches were close. IU I won 5-4 and OSU I lost 5-8. The team lost both matches. We will now go to Iowa and Wisconsin for 2 hard duel meets. I will have the number 1 and 5 wrestlers in the nation. I am very excited. We leave Thursday at 2. However, we don't get back until Sunday late. Then we wrestle next week on Thursday and Saturday. MSU and Michigan. Then BIG TENS. Ya!!!!!
We lost both and so did I. I had a good match with Iowa. However, I got into a funky position with Wisconsin guy and ended up getting pinned. Pinned is when the ref thinks your back is touching the mat for more than 3 second. The score was 2-0 when I was pinned and I had him taken down right before getting put to my back. I took the shot and he tried to funk out but I caught him. I even put him on his back. However, he turned back into me and I did not expect this. I rolled backwards and turned the wrong way. I got put on my back and they called the fall.
We now Wrestle Michigan and Michigan State. We should win both of these. We need to pull 1 upset a Michigan to win. I should crush my opponents.
