Introduction

The following pages explain the Haar measure and necessary connected topics such as topology, sets, groups, etc. This article also links to further reading on specific examples and applications of Haar measures since explaining the uses and applications would require further deviations and explanations of higher math. Haar measures are an important topic for harmonic analysis and mathematical statistics. Haar measures were also useful for solving Hilbert's fifth problem.
