THIS IS MANDATORY FOR ALL STUDENTS WHO MISSED THE LECTURE.
- Carefully read the syllabus and the Lecture 1 slide presentation.
- Visit the instructor's office hour to obtain your personal attendance record form and your seat assignment.
- Summarize the key information contained in the Lecture 1 slide presentation, including
- Cell phone policy
- Attendance policy
- Why you would get an F on the course if you either got <50% on the first assignment or did not do the first assignment.

- 300 words, typed. Hand in a hard copy with your attendance record on 5-01-2014.
