Project REACH

Received 2009 HP Innovations in Education Grant

A major objective of the REACH program focuses on the use of group-based learning and modularized course work to assist and mentor students to learn and integrate what they have learned, allowing them to reach excellence in academic achievement. HP mobile technology enhances the REACH program by helping students to learn in a cooperative and collaborative learning environment. Our goal is to improve recruitment and retention of marginalized students. The proposed cooperative learning will help retention, as students build support groups to overcome difficulties in learning.
