CAUSAL SYSTEMS

def: A causal system is one that depends on either a present or past value of $ t $. Likewise, a non-causal system is one which depends on a future value of t.

EXAMPLES

CAUSAL SYS: h(t) = 2(t-6) + 2

NON-CAUSAL SYS: h(t) = 8(t+20) + 3
