We approached problem 2 by using the product rule. We found that the fourier transform of the cosine part of the function was fairly easy to compute. We are having some trouble determining the fourier transform of the sinc function. Does anyone have any tips for a different way to do this problem or on how to find the fourier transform of the sinc function? Thanks! --Kklacik 16:35, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

For CTFT, from wikipedia

$ \operatorname{sinc}(a t)\, \frac{1}{|a|} \leftrightarrow \operatorname{rect}\left(\frac{f}{a} \right)\, $
