Are you an undergraduate student interested in doing research this summer?

Due to a generous gift from Andy Zoltners*, the department of mathematics will be able to support a few undergraduate research projects (REUs) this summer. If you have (or know of) any prospective students who may want to work with you this summer, please talk with me as soon as possible and no later than March 13 for more details.

  • Andris Zoltners received an M.S. in mathematics from Purdue in 1969 and earned a Ph.D. in Industrial Administration from Carnegie-Mellon. He is a Professor of Marketing at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he has been a member of the faculty for more than 30 years. In 1983, he co-founded ZS Associates, a global management consulting form that specializes in sales and marketing strategy, operations, and execution. Andy was the Department of Mathematics 1999 Distinguished Alumnus.`
