D is uniform between 0 and r, so I guessed the PDF of L is just L as a function of D, 2*sqrt(r^2 - D^2). I plotted out the graph with r = 10 as an example, but the area below the graph is NOT 1, so I'm probably doing it wrong. Any suggestions?
