Many seem to disagree with me here but I think you should let your friend choose first. P(Friend has goat) = 2/3. Now assuming your friend didnt choose the car you have a 50% chance of choosing the car which becomes a total probability of 2/3*1/2 = 1/3. If you go first and choose a goat you can be eliminated if your friend also chooses a goat.
