Lecture 9 Blog, ECE438 Fall 2010, Prof. Boutin

Monday September 13, 2010.

In Lecture #9, we discussed the relationship between the poles/zeros of the z-transform and the magnitude of the DT Fourier transform. We also began talking about sampling. It was announced that the deadline for the peer-review is now pushed back. (I will announce when later.)

Several students asked me after class how to obtain the ROC of a z-transform. There is a really good example on this page. Feel free to add comments/questions.
