Lecture 22 Blog, ECE301 Spring 2011, Prof. Boutin

Wednesday March 2, 2011 (Week 8) - See Course Schedule.

Today we spent a lot of time discussing homework 5. Note that the deadline for submission has been pushed to midnight tonight. The link for the drop location is now listed on the homework 5 page. Please follow the instructions and let me know if you run into problems.

We finished the lecture with a discussion of some important properties of the Fourier transform of discrete-time signals. The moral of today's lecture is that "it is important to both be able to use the Fourier transform properties and prove the Fourier transform properties".

Action items before the next lecture:

  • Read Sections 5.8, 5.9 in the book.
