Can someone explain number 1 in the homework? Just the process/reasoning. The answer is in the back but I don't understand the reasoning behind the h and how it is used. Why cant you just not take lim fx-fc/x-c which simplifies to x^2 - cx-c^2, the limit of which is 3x^2. Thanks- Jgars
