Topic Ideas for the Math Squad
- The geometric series formula (finite and infinite). Prove both formulas, then show how to use it. Illustrate how to make a change of variable (or subtract terms) to bring a sum into the form of a geometric series. This tutorial would be useful for ECE301 and ECE302.
