Lecture 9 Blog, ECE301 Spring 2011, Prof. Boutin
Monday January 31, 2011 (Week 4) - See Course Schedule.
We began Lecture 9 with an example where we computed the output of a CT LTI system using the convolution (integral) of the input with the unit impulse response. We then began discussing the properties of LTI systems that are a direct corollary of the properties of the convolution operation.
Action items before the next lecture:
- Read Section 2.4 in the book.
- Keep working on the third homework.
- By popular demand, I added more practice problems related to the convolution sum.
