memoryless- the systems outputs depends on only current inputs
causel- the systems outputs depends on only currnt or past inputs
stable- if a bounded in put yeilds out of the system a bounded output
invertable- if unique inputs of a system yield unique outputs
linear- if a oonstant times the input plus another input to the system multiplied by another constant that yields a soultion that is a linear combination of the outputs of the system
time invariant- if a input of the system can go through a time delay and then put through the system and that yeilds the same output as if the output of the system was then time delayed.
