There are two main ways of creating a new page.

* You can create a new page by making a link to the new page you want to create on an existing page. For example, you can create a page titled ''homework 2 (XYZ123Spring2009)'' by creating a link to ''homework 2 (XYZ123Spring 2009)'' within the XYZ 123 Spring 2009 course page, and subsequently clicking on the link. When the page does not exists, the link is displayed in red. Once you edit the page you newly created, the link will become blue. To add a link to ''homework 2 (XYZ123Spring 2009)'', use the syntaxe <nowiki>[[homework 2 (XYZ123Spring 2009)]]</nowiki>. To edit this page, simply click on the link after saving the page.
+
* Type in the name of the new page in the upper right search box. Then choose "Create a New Page". (If you don't see this, make sure you're logged in.) Note: You may want to create a link to it from another relevant page so others can find it.

* You can also create a new page that is not linked to any other page. (This is called an ''orphan'' page.) To do this, type the name of the page you would like to create in the search box and  press ''go''. If a page with this name does not already exists, you will then be offered the possibility to create this page.
+
* Edit the page you wish to link to the new page. To add a link that reads "Problem 2" to a page named "Problem 2 Homework 5 (XYZ123Spring2009), type <nowiki>[[Problem 2|Problem 2 Homework 5 (XYZ123Spring2009)]]</nowiki>. Click the link to visit the new page.

If the page already exists, you can edit that page instead, or just repeat the above steps with a new name. Search for similarly named pages to make sure it doesn't already exist.

There are two main ways of creating a new page.

  • Type in the name of the new page in the upper right search box. Then choose "Create a New Page". (If you don't see this, make sure you're logged in.) Note: You may want to create a link to it from another relevant page so others can find it.
  • Edit the page you wish to link to the new page. To add a link that reads "Problem 2" to a page named "Problem 2 Homework 5 (XYZ123Spring2009), type [[Problem 2|Problem 2 Homework 5 (XYZ123Spring2009)]]. Click the link to visit the new page.

If the page already exists, you can edit that page instead, or just repeat the above steps with a new name. Search for similarly named pages to make sure it doesn't already exist.
