Lecture 21 Blog, ECE438 Fall 2011, Prof. Boutin

Wednesday October 11, 2011 (Week 8) - See Course Outline.

Coming back from the break, we continued our discussion of the FFT. We finished the presentation of the "decimation by two" FFT algorithm by giving a mathematical proof for the formula presented earlier. We then generalized the procedure to obtain the "radix two" FFT algorithm.

Action Items

  • Begin working on HW5. It is due next Wednesday (in class).
