Support Purdue Students Through Project Rhea

Rhea exists thanks to the hard work of the students on the Rhea Development Team, the collective efforts of the Purdue community, and your donations. Donations help us cover our operating costs while funding various student initiatives and projects. If you are looking for a way to directly support Purdue students, this is it!

We take pride in the fact that our project is student-driven, which keeps our operating costs very low and allows us to use most of the money we receive to directly support students. For example, part of our donations are used to financially support students through our Writer-in-Residence Program. While writers-in-residence are paid an hourly wage to create educational content for our website, the content they create helps the rest of the community to learn, thereby increasing the impact of each dollar invested in this program. Another effective use of the money we receive is our Software Bounty Program, which supports most of our software development. As part of this program, the first student(s) who develops a particular piece of software needed is paid a cash bounty for his/her effort; the software created can then be used freely thereafter. So a little money goes a long way with Rhea!
