=Short Biography =STEVE ROST is an associate in the firm's Intellectual Property Group where he focuses on drafting patent applications, preparing documents for patent prosecution and litigation, drafting requests for reexamination of issued patents, drafting opinion letters, and auditing clients' intellectual property.  Prior to entering private practice, he worked as an engineer for Allison Transmission, Inc. and General Motors-Powertrain where he worked on the research and development of light and medium-duty transmissions.

McKinney School of Law in December of 2006.  He earned his bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Purdue University in 2000.  Mr. Rost is admitted to practice law in the state of Indiana, before the United States District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana and admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  He is the 2012 president of the Young Professionals of Central Indiana.
