The West Lafayette Scholastic Chess club provides k-12 students with the opportunity to learn and play chess. We run several after school programs, including:
- Learn & Play: Chess - After School: Grades K-3.
- When: Wednesdays 3:30 - 5:00 pm.
- Location: Cumberland School - Library
- Coach: Bernard Parham Jr. (Scholastic National Champion) in cooperation with Prof. Vincent Duffy (School of IE) and Perihan Gulen
- Learn & Play: Computer Chess & Engineering Systems: Any level - Grades K-5
- When: Mondays and Fridays 4 - 5:30 pm.
- Location: Purdue's Beering Hall (BRNG B280)
- Instructors: Joey So, Zhihua Dong, Prof. Vince Duffy and Prof. Okan Ersoy
- Learn & Play: Happy Hollow After School: Grades 4 - 6
- When: Fridays 2:30 - 4:30 pm.
- Location: Happy Hollow Elementary School, Room 115
