2010 Essay Contest Winners
The Rhea team is proud to announce the winners of the 2010 Rhea Essay Contest. The jury was composed of ECE graduate students Andrew Haddad and Shiv Biddanda. Each winner was awarded a $100 cash prize. We thank the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the EPICS program, and the Motorola Foundation for providing financial support for this contest. Below are the winners for each topic.
To go to grad school or not, that is the question
- The winning essay on this topic was written by Sourabh Dongaonkar, a graduate student in ECE. Sourabh works with Prof. M. A. Alam on thin film solar cells. You can read his essay here.
My experience with EPICS
- Ethan Hall, a computer engineering student, wrote the winning essay. As you can see from this picture, Ethan is a fan of swing dancing!
