About Rhea Liaisons
Liaisons provide links between Rhea and the "real world". Liaisons are displayed in boxes on the right hand side of rhea pages. By clicking on a liaison boxe, one gets to a web page containing the information pertaining to that particular liaison. There are different types of liaisons.
- Alumni Liaisons are for Purdue alumni to share messages with Purdue students. For example, an alumnus who found a particular class helpful in his career could use a liaison to share this fact with the students currently taking that class.
- Technology Liaisons are for connecting technology to the material discussed on Rhea.
- Industry Liaisons are for connecting industry to certain groups of students using Rhea. For example, a company organizing a presentation on campus of engineering students could use a liaison box to advertise this event to a specific class.
- Employment Liaisons are for companies seeking job applicants with a certain expertise
If you have a specific set of liaisons that you would like to display on your page, please let us know. Otherwise, we may simply choose some at random from a subject appropriate list, or leave them blank.
People/industry interested in being displayed on the liaison boxes should contact kiwi@ecn.purdue dot edu. Note that Rhea is an educational website and that liaisons cannot be used to display ads or a mere commercial nature.
