Assignment 4

Excellent work so far! If you could, please sign your proofs so that your classmates know whom to shower with effusive praise.

Update: Problem 10 is an unholy beast. Take heart, my hearties, there is a way to do it that involves only the dominated convergence theorem and some basic 4th-grade calculus. For the brave soul who tackles this problem and uploads/presents a correct solution, I will petition the department for your exemption from the qual. If Dr. Saerens is reading this, that last part was a joke.
