I tried out the code in Windows 32-bit (using the Visual Studio 2003 C++ compiler) and found that the typedefs had been done incorrectly.  I've uploaded a new version which fixes this problem.  I took the liberty to add flags to all of the header files to prevent multiple inclusion.  I also made one of the type casts explicit (from size_t to int32_t) to remove a warning in Windows.  This version has been tested in 32-bit Windows (VS2003) and 64-bit (gcc 4.1.2) and 32-bit (gcc 4.3.2) Linux.

Updated C-Code

The following changes have been made to the starting C-code:

  • typeutil.h has been added to support 64-bit architectures.
  • Source code files now include only their header file. Header files include all dependancies.
  • The memory leak in the example program is now fixed.

Download the updated version here.

Unfortunatly, I was only able to test the changes on a 32 bit Mac using GCC. Please post any problems you encounter.

The above link points to the updated file now.
