- Don't die of alcohol poisoning.
- Be aware of post-qual depression/ slacking off.
- Let professors in the fields in which you are interested know you are interested and ask them who is accepting students, so they can give you some advice on what to do next.
- Get used to studying on your own.
- I think you get a raise in pay :)
