Some questions to keep your mind busy while you are sitting on the bus

• Regarding Digital Signals and Systems
  • What kind of naturally occurring signals can be well represented digitally? Do you think Movies are better/worse when digitized? How about music: is digitized music not as good as analog music? And Paintings? Are there signals that cannot or should not be digitized?
  • How do calculators work? For example, why does one divided by three and then multiplied by three give one as an answer? Shouldn't the answer be 0.9999 because of quantization errors?
