I really don't think it matters, you only have two outcomes H or T. And for this you're finding the possible ways each event could occur. In parts B&C, where it says "two, and not three, heads come up in a row" could you still have TTHHT, or does it have to be HHT? -Stephanie
The only elements of the set that the two heads, but not three apply to are the HHT, THH out of the total 8. (HHH) does not apply.

The coin is only flipped 3 times, so I don't think TTHHT is possible.
