Today we talked about sampling and covered the Sampling theorem. If you paid attention in class, the fact that the Sampling theorem holds true should sound surprising to you. In the next lecture, we will go over the proof of this theorem, which should help clarify why this theorem is true.
Note that HW7 is posted and that its due date has been changed to 23:59:59 Wednesday March 16, 2011. IT is highly recommended that you finish this homework before Spring break if you can.
Action items before the next lecture:
- Finish HW6 if you have not finished it already.
- Begin working on HW7.
