Actually, I think that the answer to this part would be one half. Imagine it like this: there are three positions. The first is the one you pick, the second is the one your friend picks, and the third is the one that neither you or your little homie picks. These are the possible arrangements.

Upon eliminating your friend, the second option is also eliminating, leaving you with a one half chance of getting the car. This is different from the normal Monte Hall problem in that, upon revealing a goat, no option is eliminated.
