Causal System

A causal system is defined as a system whose outputs are only affected by the inputs from the present time, $ t_0 $ and any past time $ t $, not ones from the future.

Non-causal System

A non-causal system is a system whose outputs can still be affected by past or present inputs, but can also take into account future inputs.
