Definition of Time invariance
A Time Invariant system is a system who's output
is not altered by a shift in time

Example of time-invariant
y=e^x
a simple way to prove this is through the horizontal and vertical line tests.
no horizontal or vertical line pass through the graph of y=e^x twice.

Example of time-variant
y=x^2
This function fails the horizontal line test, a horizontal line that passes
through the function will cross the function more than once.
