Short bio for Joe Land, BSEE 2007

Guest speaker for ECE400, Spring 2014


Joe Land received his Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue in 2007, where he explored his passion for loudspeaker and audio electronics. After graduation, he joined Klipsch Audio Technologies where he worked on audio projects including “home theater in a box” systems and a proprietary audio switching system for loudspeaker evaluation. In 2009, he joined Beckman Coulter as Senior Electronic Engineer, working with automated liquid handlers for biomedical testing. In 2011, Joe joined Indy Audio Labs, a startup company based in the Purdue Research Park in Indianapolis, where he is currently Chief Engineer and Director of Advanced Development at. Joe is responsible for the company’s electronics, acoustics and software development.
