Bayes Decision Theory
Bayes Decision Theory is concerned with the problem of classifying data. The core of Bayesian Decision Theory is Bayes rule, which is based on the principle that one should choose the most likely class given the observation. By following Bayes rule, one achieves the minimum possible probability of error.
